We would have stayed in Bagdale Hall because it was built in 1515 for the Conyers. Some Boyntons and some Conyers were good friends at about this point -- including several Conyers wives over the centuries. It seemed like a good place for Boyntons to stay. But they would not take a guest as young as 8. So we were pleased to see that they had rooms available while we were there. They should have taken our business. | ![]() |
